For Monday:
1.Continue to review usage lists; make notes, practice sentences, etc.
2.Continue to review vocab!

3. Bring 6 "Show and tell" reading questions covering subjects you're interested in from Chapters 4 to the end of the book. Your questions should be in the basic form:
"What happens when....?/What does this show about ...?"

OLD notes on 12/3 ASSIGNMENT:

Find an "artifact" of our culture that shows some of the traits of the World state. (a copy of an advertisement, song lyric, transcript or description of a video or movie/TV scene, etc. ) Make sure that you can actually "show" this artifact to the class.

THEN, answer this prompt in 4 paragraphs : (1 intro,+ 1 for each aspect/example)
In what three ways does your artifact resemble things the characters do in the World State? (support each "aspect" you describe with a clear example from BNW.
