Each is a thorough guide to the concepts described: In fact, I just completely rewrote, revised, and expanded both guides this week. Resist the urge to "read through it" and assume that you're done:

I encourage you to supplement these brief guides by looking up all the grammar terms (including the passive voice, forms of the verb "to be" and "linking verbs", and phrase and clause types) on wikipedia or grammar sites of your choice. Understanding these "basic" terms, even if you haven't seen them before, is part of this reading!
