All Students BIZ announcement:

The current scores for all asignments (the basis for our 4 1/2-week progress report) are now online on the Aeries Database. Please look over your scores; if I may have missed, or miss-entered a score for you, please bring it with you tomorrow so that I may correct the mistake and send a more accurate report.

Also keep in mind that these are raw scores, so while they may predict what grade you will get if you continue to follow the same work habits, they do not necessarily mean that 1/4 of your grade is set in stone: coming assignments will reemphasize the same skills, with much higher weight, so that as you improve your performance, that improvement in the form of higher scores, rather than your initial grade, will most affect your grade.

At the same time, if you are not doing your work consistently, notice how dramatically each "0" for a missing assignment affects your grade. If you are earning a grade lower than a C, notice any zeros, and see how even D-level scores would bring that grade up. Do all your work, trust in your improvement, and keep asking: "What's the Focus!"
