By popular request, here's a master list of all the abbreviations you may see on your papers.  The point of course is to use these, in conjunction with your class notes about these errors, to figure out all the ways these tricky little bad habits can pop up in our writing when we least expect it.  Remember that if there's ever anything marked on your paper that you don't understand, just ask!
